Founded in 1983, AVOCCO is an Italian travel shoe brand. As one of Italy’s top three travel shoe brands, AVOCCO’s travel shoes incorporate the principles of sport and comfort, from design and development to material selection and craftsmanship, fostering the brand’s “travel DNA.” Furthermore, AVOCCO is consumer-focused, focusing on business professionals in the post-industrial era, with affordable prices and realistic wear scenarios as the starting point for its designs. In recent years, AVOCCO has gained widespread favor among business travelers through its innovative technologies, such as Combasa™ graphene insoles and Gigagrip™ anti-slip, wear-resistant soles.

The brand originated in Montebellua, a small mountain town in northern Italy known as the Rainbow City and a pioneer of Italian footwear. The brand name derives from Arcobaleno Nuvola Picco, meaning rainbow clouds entwined with the mountain peaks. Founder Sr. Roberto Maggini was captivated by the beautiful sight of rainbow clouds entwined with the mountain peaks one rainy morning in 1983. He always harbored the dream of creating a footwear brand, and he cleverly combined the letters of Arcobaleno Nuvola Picco to create the AVOCCO brand. He also used the initial A as a graphic representation of an eagle’s head as the brand’s trademark. Thus, the AVOCCO brand was born. Due to its popularity among consumers, it is now often referred to as the “Eagle Head” brand.
